Clidacor clindamycin gel is a medicinal preparation that contains Clindamycin Phospate. Clidacor clindamycin gel is used to treatment serious infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria such as Streptococcus, Pneumococcal, and Staphylococcus. Clindamycin also has a topical anti-infective effect which is used in the treatment of acne. Available in gel and capsule dosage forms, this drug is produced by Genero Pharmaceuticals.
Gel dosage: Apply thinly twice a day.
General Indications:
Acne vulgaris, especially inflammatory lesions accompanied by pustules (pimples with fluid or pus).
Side effects:
Side effects that may occur while using include superinfection.
Contraindications:
Avoid using in patients who have indications for:
- Hypersensitive.
- Topical and vaginal: history of inflammatory bowel disease, regional enteritis (chronic intestinal inflammation), ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the large intestine) or antibiotic-associated colitis.
Attention:
Should not be used in individuals who have a history of ulcerative colitis or enteritis, and a history of severe diarrhea due to antibiotics.
